Privacy Policy

What we collect. Your photo, your email address, your order and delivery details, and basic technical data (a device ID in your browser, IP address, error logs) used to keep the service working and prevent abuse. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.

Your photo. To make your portrait we process your photo automatically: we check it will produce a usable result, generate preview options, and build a 3D model of the likeness. That involves deriving facial geometry from the image.

We do not use your photo, or anything derived from it, to identify anyone. No facial recognition, no matching against any database, no AI training. We never sell it.

We delete your photo and model 30 days after your portrait is finished. Order records are kept longer for tax and accounting. Want it gone sooner? Email us and we'll delete it and confirm.

Photos of other people. Most of our customers are making a gift. If the photo is of someone else, you confirm you have their permission — and if it's a child, that you're their parent or guardian.

Who else touches your data. Stripe (payments), AWS (storage), Google Cloud Vision (photo check), Tripo3D (3D model), fal.ai (previews), Resend (email), and our hosting providers. They act on our instructions only.

Your rights. Ask us to show, correct, delete, or export what we hold, or to stop processing it. Email hello@dotestudio.com from your order address; we reply within 45 days, free, with no penalty for asking. Unhappy with our answer? Reply to it, and you may contact the Texas Attorney General.

Children. Not intended for under-13s. A parent or guardian may order a portrait of a child.

Changes. We'll update the date above, and email you if the change is significant.
